Hayatullah Mujahid Farahi, the Deputy Minister of Publications of the Taliban’s Ministry of Information and Culture, has claimed that Pakistan’s recent airstrikes and the claim of drones being launched from Afghan territory are Islamabad’s attempt to strengthen its narrative at the UN meeting and distance itself from the commitments of the Makkah Agreement.

He said on Thursday, September 24, in a message posted on X that the “rumor” of eight drones being launched by the Taliban toward Pakistan is “baseless.”

According to him, Pakistan’s attacks on Afghanistan over the past few days and last night were also carried out in this same context.

Mujahid Farahi also said that what he called Pakistan’s “duplicity” has become clear to everyone.

This comes as Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, said that in response to the entry of drones from Afghan territory, the country targeted 10 locations in Afghanistan with airstrikes and drone attacks.
