Al-Mirsad, a media outlet affiliated with Taliban intelligence, has rejected a drone attack on Pakistan.

This media outlet wrote on Wednesday, September 23, citing sources, that they have so far not carried out any drone attack on Pakistan.

The report states that the Taliban air force will determine the time and type of attack on Pakistan.

This comes as Pakistani security sources said this afternoon that eight drones that entered the country’s airspace from Afghanistan were shot down by Pakistan’s air defense systems.

According to a report by Pakistan’s Samaa TV, four drones were targeted in mountainous areas near Kohat, and four other drones near the Torkham border crossing.

Security sources added that in response to this incident, Taliban positions and hideouts in the Kurram district were targeted and destroyed last night.
