The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that within the framework of the naval blockade of Iran, the routes of 105 commercial ships in regional waters have been changed.
CENTCOM wrote on Friday night, September 19, on its X page that the naval blockade of Iran continues and that commercial ships have been rerouted to ensure compliance with this blockade.
The command emphasized that the measures taken were in line with implementing the naval blockade of Iran, and commercial ships were directed through designated routes.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps has described the continuation of the US naval blockade as meaning the continuation of war.
This comes as the US naval blockade of Iran was imposed after Tehran closed the Strait of Hormuz — an action that has affected the movement of commercial ships in regional waters.
