The Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that its commando forces have acquired advanced military technology to counter and neutralize enemy drones before they reach their targets.

The front said in a statement published on X on Friday, October 30 that its commandos had gained access to the technology alongside military training, professional exercises, and battlefield experience. According to the front, the technology will be used to defend its positions against Taliban drone attacks.

The statement said the technology had been introduced to fighters deployed in operational units, who had also received the necessary training on how to use it.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front added that access to the technology would strengthen its forces’ defensive capabilities and operational mobility, helping them counter aerial and drone attacks and protect their positions.

The front emphasized that its fighters were adequately prepared to defend their positions and strongholds.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front has not yet disclosed technical details about the technology, the types of equipment involved, or how its anti-drone systems operate.

Freedom Front forces are actively engaged in clashes with the Taliban in Badakhshan and Nuristan provinces. The group also carries out occasional attacks against Taliban forces in other provinces.

The Freedom front has previously reported military operations in several areas, including Badakhshan, Nuristan, and Kunar provinces.
