Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, while condemning what he called “crimes against humanity” in Gaza and other parts of the region, has emphasized holding the perpetrators of these actions accountable.

Erdogan said on Tuesday, September 29, in a message on the social media platform X that those who played a role in the killing of 74,000 Palestinians in Gaza must be held accountable before the law.

He also said that those who create fear and terror in the region from Lebanon to Syria must also be held accountable for their actions.

The President of Turkey added that Ankara will not retreat from its position until these individuals are held accountable before the law.

Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will continue to state what it considers the truth and to recount the facts about developments in the region.
