The Taliban security command in Jowzjan has reported the killing of a man in the village of “Shah Mirzai” in the Khanqah district of the province.

Abdul Sattar Halimi, the spokesman for the Taliban security command in Jowzjan, said on Tuesday, September 29, that this man was killed last night with a pistol in his home.

According to him, the man’s wife has been arrested by Taliban forces in connection with this killing.

He noted that investigations into the motive and circumstances of this incident are ongoing.

This incident comes as criminal incidents have increased in various parts of the country in recent months.

However, the Taliban have always claimed to provide nationwide security in the country.
