The United Front of Afghanistan has announced that its forces killed a Taliban member in an operation in Kandahar province.

The front said in a newsletter published on the social media platform X on Sunday night, September 27 (Mizan 5), that the operation was carried out in the “Dahla Dam” area of Shah Wali Kot district.

According to the United Front of Afghanistan, a Taliban member was targeted and killed in this operation.

The front did not provide further details about how the operation took place or the identity of the killed individual.

This comes as the Taliban have so far not commented on the occurrence of this clash or the claim that one of its members was killed in Kandahar.
