The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has announced that it has seized approximately 600 acres of land in Balkh province.

The ministry said on Sunday, September 27, that the mentioned lands belonged to the “Khatam al-Anbiya Project” and are located in the Qala-e Qul Mohammad area, District 12 of Mazar-i-Sharif city.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice added that the documents for these lands were reviewed in “the group’s special court for the northern zone.”

This comes as the Taliban group, after returning to power, has begun the process of reviewing and reclaiming a number of lands and townships.
