Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan, on the occasion of the arrival of the twenty-ninth of Sunbula, the 15th anniversary of the death of Burhanuddin Rabbani, former President of Afghanistan, says that he strived to establish peace.

Mr. Karzai, in a message published on Sunday, September 20, has referred to Rabbani as a distinguished religious scholar, jihad leader, and national figure of Afghanistan.

He has said that Professor Rabbani strived to strengthen unity and establish peace in the country.

The former President of Afghanistan has described Burhanuddin Rabbani as a peace-seeking personality.
