The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed that its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in the Sarai Shamali area of Kabul.
The front said in a newsletter published on its X page that the attack took place around 8:50 PM on Wednesday night, 25 Sunbula, and as a result, two Taliban members were killed and two others were wounded.
The Freedom Front also added that the attack took place as security concerns related to Afghanistan have brought security officials of regional countries to Kabul.
The front clarified that regional countries and Afghanistan’s neighbors have expressed concern about the spread of terrorism and extremism from Afghan soil and do not believe the Taliban’s claim of ensuring nationwide security.
It is worth noting that this attack took place simultaneously with the visit of the head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization and the advisor of Qatar’s National Security Council to Kabul.
