{"id":901,"date":"2026-09-28T11:16:38","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taneen.tv\/en\/?p=901"},"modified":"2026-09-30T12:06:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-30T12:06:15","slug":"1332","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taneen.tv\/en\/1332\/","title":{"rendered":"Ship Traffic in the Strait of Hormuz Decreased by Two-Thirds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">International media have reported that in the past two days, only 12 cargo ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz \u2014 a figure indicating a decrease of about two-thirds in the traffic of ships and oil tankers in this waterway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Al Jazeera reported early Monday, September 21 , that on Saturday and Sunday of last week, 35 ships had passed through the Strait of Hormuz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) had also previously announced that the threat level in this waterway remains high, and at least three attacks on ships have been reported in the past three days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran&#8217;s Islamic Consultative Assembly, has said that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the United States adheres to its commitments in the temporary peace agreement of June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">This comes as the US has continued its blockade of Iran&#8217;s southern ports and announced that as of yesterday, it has forced 109 commercial ships to change course.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>International media have reported that in the past two days, only 12 cargo ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz \u2014 a figure indicating..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":902,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_FSMCFIC_featured_image_caption":"","_FSMCFIC_featured_image_nocaption":"","_FSMCFIC_featured_image_hide":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-901","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-world"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 -
