{"id":1536,"date":"2026-09-28T11:15:12","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T11:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taneen.tv\/en\/?p=1536"},"modified":"2026-09-30T11:56:52","modified_gmt":"2026-09-30T11:56:52","slug":"1516-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taneen.tv\/en\/1516-2\/","title":{"rendered":"US Announces Escalation of Financial Pressure Against Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Scott Bessent, the US Secretary of the Treasury, has announced targeted financial measures against banks and aviation service providers under what he called an &#8220;economic exclusion operation.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Bessent said on X (Twitter) on\u00a0<\/span><strong><span class=\"\">Saturday, September 26<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">, that teams from the Treasury have been dispatched to various countries to encourage governments to impose economic pressure and measures against Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">According to the US Treasury Secretary, Turkey and Oman have announced the suspension of Mahan Air flights, and the United Arab Emirates has halted all flights of Iranian airlines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">Bessent also claimed that major commercial banks in the UAE and Turkey have stopped conducting financial transactions with Iran.
