Hossein Mohebbi, spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has warned that if the United States launches a new attack on Iran, the country will use “new weapons” and, by “changing the geography of the war,” will attack areas that have not been targeted so far.
He said on Monday, September 21, that in the event of a US attack, Iran will use new weapons that will “astonish” the world.
Mohebbi also stated that Iran has produced weapons and developed their capabilities that have not been used in the current stages of the war.
He called these weapons Iran’s “strategic” weapons, which will be used “if necessary,” and “the world will see what happens.”
The IRGC spokesman, regarding changing the geography of the war, also said that “the war has now become regional, but since the region is vast, there is still room for the geographical expansion of this war.”
Mr. Mohebbi noted that the IRGC has prepared itself for “a long-term war.”
The IRGC spokesman’s warning comes after the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said in a statement yesterday that the United States, with the “green light” of some regional countries, intends to resume its actions.
