The Environmental Protection Agency under Taliban control has announced that a delegation from this agency has departed for Azerbaijan to participate in the United Nations Global Climate Change Conference (COP-29).

In the agency’s newsletter, it is stated that Afghanistan will share its demands regarding access to resources and the fight against climate change with the international community at this conference.

The delegation will also raise issues related to climate change and environmental challenges with other countries. Next week, nearly 200 countries will attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as “COP 29,” in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
