The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense has claimed that yesterday a Pakistani military shell near Boldak in Kandahar was targeted and destroyed after it fired toward Afghanistan.
This ministry said in a statement published on X on Friday, September 25, that in this clash no casualties or damage were inflicted on Taliban forces.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense added that the claims published by the Pakistani side regarding this incident are not true and are “propaganda.”
This comes as Pakistani media have reported that the country’s forces on Thursday clashed with the Taliban following what was called a “aggressive action” by the Taliban along the Afghanistan border.
According to a report published by Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper late Thursday, Taliban forces tried to enter Pakistani territory from the “Gulistan” area in Balochistan.
The report adds that Pakistani forces, in response, killed several Taliban members.
