The Taliban security command in Takhar has announced that in a traffic accident in this province, at least eight people lost their lives and four others were injured.

Bakhtar News Agency, under Taliban control, reported on Wednesday, September 23, citing local Taliban officials, that this incident occurred on Tuesday night due to a vehicle deviating from the road and a “Hino” type truck overturning.

The report states that this incident occurred in the Gaziistan area of Kalafgan district, and the injured have been transferred to the hospital.

It is worth noting that driver negligence, high speed, damaged roads, and lack of traffic signs have been cited as causes of traffic accidents.
