Sami Sadat, the leader of the United Front of Afghanistan, on the occasion of the anniversary of the assassination of Burhanuddin Rabbani, the head of the High Peace Council in the previous government, has said that honor, the path to salvation, and a better life depend on a “decisive and resolute struggle” against the Taliban.

Sadat said on Tuesday, the 22nd of September, in a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the struggle against the Taliban must result in the liberation of Afghanistan so that the country’s citizens can have property, land, freedom, and security.

He noted: “We struggle for this goal and we will free Afghanistan and make Afghanistan better and prosperous.”

He described the assassination of Burhanuddin Rabbani as one of the most important and bitter events in Afghanistan’s contemporary history and a sign of the deep difficulties in the peace process of that era.

This comes as in recent days the activities of anti-Taliban fronts against this group have increased in some parts of the country.
