Amir Hatami, the commander of Iran’s Army, says the country’s forces are “fully ready and vigilant” to confront any potential attack from the United States or Israel.
According to Al Jazeera, Hatami said on Monday, the 21st of September, that Iran’s military forces have previously defended the country against what he called enemy aggression.
He emphasized that Iran’s armed forces will “not hesitate for a moment” in defending the country’s independence, security, and territorial integrity.
These remarks come as concerns about the possibility of a new military attack on Iran have increased, and tensions between Tehran and Washington continue.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has also said that he is at a “decision-making stage” regarding Iran. He also mentioned the possibility of meeting with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
